Working Quartz Grandfather Clock!

Excited about this one, but no instructions came with its operation. The battery in the clock was dead when I opened it. I was told the via email that to start the clock by pushing in the stem, but it was already pushed in when packaged. I’m sure that’s why the battery was dead. Without instructions I was afraid of damaging the clock. The stem was stiff at first, but is fine now. Keeps good time. Clockface could be brighter. Not as bright as in the picture. Expensive!
