This black painted wood miniature 1368-1644 ming dynasty reproduction writing table is a 1:12 scale dollhouse accessory by JBM Miniatures. This stunning miniature yokeback arm chair reproduction from the ming dynasty was originally used as the chair for a chinese painting desk. The original can be seen in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The design of this dollhouse chair is simple, yet elegant. The top of the chair fame is cyma shaped, The back is a flat splat with molded edges and a very small cut out were the splat fits on to the chair seat. The top of the back frame and splat are curved back slightly. The chair has open arms curved outwards with straight supports. The seat frame is molded with a curved valance that forms part of the front framework. Shaped brace blocks have been incorporated on the front legs, under the seat at the sides and at the front of the chair under the arm rests. Size: 6" tall by 2" long by 1.75" deep.
