Optional Package Delivery Insurance
We suggest you consider purchasing package delivery insurance when checking out, as it's an inexpensive safeguard against lost & carrier damaged shipments. We are not responsible for lost & carrier damaged packages which are not insured.
- Damaged insurance claims must be filed no later than 30 days after you receive your package. We will require pictures of the damage (contents & shipping box), items & shipping label.
- Missing package claims can be filed after the package is stopped in transit for more than 5 days. At this time we will file a lost package report with the carrier. The carrier then has 15 days to respond. Once they respond, if the package is not located, we will contact you to process your insurance claim.
You only have to deal with us. Insured package claims are managed completely by us, not the carrier. Please email us at email@example.com with package delivery insurance claims, pictures & questions. All issued insurance credits are applied to the original payment source only
If you have had issues with stolen packages in your neighborhood or your mail carrier delivers packages in an easily veiwed location, we strongly suggest you purchase optional signature confirmation to prevent theft. We are not responsible for delivered stolen packages.
